1.1 This Privacy Policy outlines the rigorous standards by which **Sarang Productions** ("the Company") manages data within the **Landlord Pro** ecosystem. Unlike traditional cloud-accounting models, Landlord Pro is engineered on a "Local-First" framework, prioritizing the user as the sole custodian of their financial records.
1.2 By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that our primary role is providing the encrypted architecture (The Vault) and the bridging gateway to HMRC, while you remain the Data Controller of all rental records.
2.1 For users opting for Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions, the Company facilitates a secure "Tunnel Protocol." During transmission, your data is packaged on your local device and sent directly to the HMRC Gateway via an encrypted API.
2.2 **No Persistence Clause:** The Company’s servers do not cache, store, or snapshot your financial totals during this transit. Once the "Acknowledgment Receipt" is returned from HMRC to your device, the transmission tunnel is collapsed.
3.1 **Technical Metadata:** We may process anonymized telemetry data (operating system version, crash logs) under the legal basis of *Legitimate Interests* to maintain software stability. This data contains no PII (Personally Identifiable Information).
3.2 **Contact Data:** Email addresses provided for the "Waitlist" or "Support" are processed via *Consent*. You may withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe protocol.
4.1 Under our **Zero-Knowledge Architecture**, Sarang Productions does not possess the cryptographic keys required to decrypt your Local Hive Vault. Consequently, we cannot fulfill requests for data recovery, as we never held the data in the first instance.
4.2 We do not employ "Predictive Analytics" or "AI Risk Profiling" on your rental yields. Your financial intent remains invisible to our developers and any third-party marketing entities.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, you maintain the following rights:

6.1 While your financial data never leaves your device (except to HMRC), our support ticketing and email notifications may be processed in secure jurisdictions compliant with UK Adequacy Decisions. All partners are vetted for AES-256 encryption at rest.
7.1 Users are reminded that under UK tax law, records must generally be kept for at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year. Deleting the Landlord Pro application does not absolve the user of this statutory requirement.
8.1 **ICO Registration:** Sarang Productions operates in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Our registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office is renewed annually.
8.2 **Apple Privacy Manifests:** In accordance with the 2026 App Store Improvements mandate, Landlord Pro utilizes a `PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy` manifest to declare all API usage. We do not engage in device fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.
