1.1 By accessing Landlord Pro (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable UK laws. This Application is provided as a record-keeping architecture for landlords subject to HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) regulations.
1.2 These terms govern your use of the local software and any bridging services provided to facilitate HMRC connectivity.
Critical Notice: Not an Accountancy Firm
2.1 Sarang Productions is a software provider, not a firm of regulated tax advisors or accountants. All tax estimations, yield calculations, and record-keeping summaries generated by the Application are for informational purposes only.
2.2 Users are strictly advised to verify all data with a qualified tax professional before committing to a final HMRC submission. You acknowledge that tax laws are subject to change and software logic may lag behind statutory updates.
3.1 **Local Storage Responsibility:** As a "Local-First" application, your data resides on your hardware. You are solely responsible for maintaining hardware backups. Sarang Productions cannot "recover" lost data resulting from device failure or app deletion.
3.2 **HMRC Transmission:** When you authorize a submission, you certify that all information provided to the Application is true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
4.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sarang Productions shall not be liable for any HMRC fines, penalties, interest charges, or legal fees resulting from: (a) data entry errors; (b) software bugs; (c) HMRC gateway downtime; or (d) unauthorized access to your physical device.
4.2 Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the software license within the 12 months preceding the claim.
5.1 The Application’s "Hive" architecture, branding, and proprietary tax-logic code are the protected intellectual property of Sarang Productions. Reverse engineering or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.
6.1 We reserve the right to modify or discontinue bridging services (HMRC APIs) should regulatory requirements or external API providers change. You will be provided with a 30-day notice for any permanent cessation of service.
Governing Law
